Facebook Ads for Contractors 📣
Meta ads, offers and follow-up built for renovation contractors, measured on booked estimates and signed jobs in your CRM.
Trusted by 300+ partners
Facebook and Instagram ads work for contractors because they reach homeowners before they start searching, with photos and video of real jobs. In seven of our published insulation case studies, leads cost $21.18 to $52.49, most between $30 and $37, and 31% to 54% of leads booked an estimate. The difference between good and bad accounts is rarely the targeting: it is the creative, the offer, and how fast someone calls the lead back.
Why Contractors Choose Us for Meta Ads
Creative From Your Real Jobs
We script and edit ads around your crews, your trucks and your before and after shots. Homeowners trust a real job site more than a stock photo.
Offers Homeowners Act On
A clear reason to reach out now, such as a free inspection or an in-home measure, beats "quality work since 2005." We test offers before we raise budget.
Speed to Lead, Built In
Every form lands in your CRM and gets an automatic text within minutes, then a follow-up sequence until it books or says no.
Tracked to the Signed Job
Booked and sold stages go back to Meta, so the campaigns learn which homeowners buy, not just who fills out forms.

Our Facebook Ads Process for Contractors
From scroll to signed contract, one system.
Offer and Angle
We look at your average ticket, your season and your competitors' ads in the Meta Ad Library, then pick two or three offers worth testing.

Video and Image Production
Short vertical videos, before and after carousels and simple statics, made from footage you send or film with our shot list.

Lead Forms and CRM Follow-Up
Qualifying questions on the form, instant text and email from GoHighLevel, and a calendar link so homeowners book themselves.

Optimization on Booked Jobs
We read results by ad, not only by campaign, retire tired creative and move budget to what books estimates.

Format | What to show | Tip |
|---|---|---|
Owner on camera (vertical video) | You or your estimator explaining one problem and how you fix it | Film on site, with natural sound. Say your town in the first seconds |
Before and after | Same angle, same light, side by side or as a carousel | One project per ad; add a one-line caption with the job and town |
Process clip | Crew at work: spray rig, sanding, epoxy flakes, coil cleaning, tear-off | Fast cuts, captions on screen, most people watch without sound |
Proof clip | A homeowner reaction, a thermal camera reading, a utility bill (with permission) | Only real customers and real numbers |
Simple static | Photo of a finished job plus the offer in large text | Good for retargeting people who watched your videos |
Refresh creative regularly. When the same ad keeps running to the same local audience, results fade; new hooks on the same footage are often enough.
Trade | Offer that gives a reason to act | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
Insulation | Free attic inspection with photos, or a check of the rebates still active in your state | Leading U.S. ads with the federal 25C credit: it ended for work placed in service after December 31, 2025 |
Painting | Free color consult with the estimate, or estimate within a set number of days | "Cheapest painter in town" |
Flooring | Free in-home measure with samples brought to the house | Price per square foot without the install details |
Epoxy and coatings | Garage floor estimate with a sample of the flake colors | Promising a one-day job without knowing the slab |
HVAC | System check or replacement quote with financing options | Financing claims you cannot back up |
Roofing | Free roof inspection with photos | Storm-chasing language |
If your ad promotes financing, or Meta treats it as housing related (housing repairs are listed in the Housing category), the campaign must run as a Special Ad Category. That means no age or gender targeting, no ZIP code targeting, a minimum 15-mile radius around any location, and no lookalike audiences. Plan your areas and offers with that in mind, or Meta may reject the ads.
Residential contractors whose work looks good on camera and who want a steady calendar of estimates.

Figures as reported in each case study. What they show: cost per lead was fairly stable from account to account, but revenue depended on booking and closing, which is why we build the follow-up with the ads. More in our case studies and the insulation cost per lead breakdown.
Yes, when the ads show real jobs, the offer is clear and leads are called back fast. In seven of our published insulation case studies, leads cost $21.18 to $52.49 and 31% to 54% of them booked an estimate. They work poorly with stock photos, vague offers and slow follow-up.
In our published insulation accounts, ad spend ran from $254 for a two-week test to about $2,500 a month. Start with enough to test two or three offers for several weeks, then scale to what your crews can install.
Usually an easy instant form with no questions, a giveaway-style offer, or slow follow-up. Switch to the higher intent form, add ZIP code and homeowner questions, and text every lead within minutes.
Google catches people already searching and usually costs more per lead. Meta reaches homeowners earlier and usually costs less per lead, but they need more follow-up. Many contractors use both. See our guide to Google Ads for contractors.
Run lead or conversion campaigns in Ads Manager. Boosting a post buys reach and likes, not estimates, and gives you less control over who sees it and what happens after.
Leads often start within days. Estimates and signed jobs take longer: in our case studies, accounts reported signed revenue within two weeks to three months, with more pipeline still open.
